Like any other record, tombstones require evaluation; further, they can give clues when taken in context with the neighboring grave markers around them. Come find out how to collect biographical details that go beyond birth and death dates carved into stone. Pre-registration recommended.

Find out about the resources in our country that will lead you to the point when you are ready to track your Scots-Irish Immigrant back "over the water." Identify some of the quirks in Scots-Irish research including religious influence, social status, common names, and that seeming indifference to keeping track of a person's true age. This class will show how objects in the Ohio History Connection's collections might help you understand the lives lived by people documented in paper record research. This class will introduce you to searching for objects of interest in the Ohio Historical Society's Online Collection Catalog. Pre-registration required.
